Oluwatoyosi F. Akintayo, MSc

Oluwatoyosi is a Plant Biology Ph.D. Candidate in The Bhattacharya Lab situated at the Department of Agronomy, Iowa State University. Her research interest is in molecular plant-pathogen interactions, and she is currently investigating the mechanisms of nonhost resistance in plants. Before coming to Iowa, she obtained her bachelor's degree in Botany and a master's degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Oluwatoyosi is a member of the American Society of Plant Biologists African Research Network (ASPB_ARN).
