My name is Pengfei Bai, and I am working as a Postdoc fellow at Dr. Keiko Torii Lab at The University of Texas at Austin. My research interests lie in proteomic profiling and characterizing the signaling network of receptor-like kinase that involved in plant growth and development. By using TurboID-based proximity labeling technique, I aim to identify proteins associated Arabidopsis ERECTA receptor, which will provide insight into receptor-kinase signaling activation and the generation of distinct output signals. I used to study plant-microbe interaction by using the rice blast pathosystem at Dr. Guo-liang Wang’s Plant Pathology Lab at The Ohio State University.
