I am Tennessee native who is passionate about research revolving around plant development. I have conducted research in the Shpak lab for over 6 years regarding the developmental role of EPIDERMAL PATTTERNING FACTOR LIKE proteins in plants such as Arabidopsis. I am particularly interested in the development of flowers and reproductive structures of plants. My other interests include spending time enjoying nature and playing music with friends. Ultimately, I am passionate about plant developmental biology, and my research in the Shpak lab has allowed me to expand upon this passion.
