Younyoung Lee is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary and holds a research affiliate position with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. She earned her BSc in plant biotechnology and MSc in plant sciences from the University of Manitoba. After her graduation, she worked as a laboratory technician at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Lethbridge, Alberta. Her current research focuses on the development of wheat germplasm, leveraging a plant physiology perspective to enhance wheat yield and stability in the face of climate change, thereby contributing to global food security.
