Dorcas Olufunke Alade is a citizen of Nigeria, West Africa. She got her bachelor’s degree in plant biology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and proceeded for her master’s degree in Pure and Applied Botany (Plant pathology) from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria. She’s currently pursuing her doctorate degree at the horticultural science department, University of Florida, USA working on carbon fixation, translocation, and allocation in tree plants. She envisions a world where sustainable agricultural practices harmonize with environmental preservation, paving the way for a more resilient and thriving planet.
