Sunil Kenchanmane Raju is a postdoc in the Birnbaum lab at the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at New York University, where he explores comparative single-cell genomics in maize and related grasses for insights into gene regulation in development and stress responses. His Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln focused on inducing epigenetic variation for improved agronomic traits in soybean and Arabidopsis. Sunil co-founded Plant Postdocs, supporting researchers in plant-related fields preparing for careers in academia and industry. His work contributes to advancing plant biology for global challenges in agriculture and sustainability.
