Claire Macero is an undergraduate student at Amherst College with a major in Biochemistry & Biophysics. She is a research assistant in the Jeong Lab, studying iron regulation in Arabidopsis thaliana. She is also interested in science education and works as a fellow for the Amherst Center for Community Engagement, assisting in the development of an outreach-focused biology education course. After graduating from Amherst, she plans to attend graduate school for molecular biology.
