Ms. Kajol Pradhan obtained her undergraduate degree in agriculture from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in plant science with a concentration in Biotechnology at Tennessee State University. As a graduate research assistant at the university, she actively contributes to several research projects, including tomato tissue culture and gene editing, tomato heat stress, strawberry proteomics analysis, evaluation of winter broccoli production, and proteomics of switchgrass root. Throughout her academic journey, Ms. Pradhan has participated in several conferences and has been awarded for both oral and poster presentations. With a diverse skill set, Ms. Pradhan excels in various laboratory techniques, including plant tissue culture, bacterial culture, DNA extraction, gene editing, guide RNA design, primer design, and proteomics analysis. She demonstrates a strong commitment to her academic pursuits, research projects, and active engagement within the scientific community.
