Van Nguyen obtained her PhD degree in Graduate Institute of Biotechnology from the National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan (2021), and subsequently she undertook postdoctoral appointments at Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Currently, Van Nguyen is the JSPS postdoctoral fellow of the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science (CSRS) at RIKEN, Japan. Her major research interest is the spatiotemporal dynamics of plant lipid profiles in plant developmental control and plant lipid metabolic engineering for environmental sustainability.
