I am a Hiroshima University research fellowship recipient doing a Ph.D. in plant science, focusing on the use of riboflavin (vitamin B2) to minimize salinity stress in rice seedlings. Currently, I am planning to work on the effect of riboflavin under other abiotic stresses and the bacteria that produce riboflavin alleviating salinity stress in the model plant (Arabidopsis), experiencing ICP-OES, qRT-PCR, and LCMS/MS.
I am interested in using current developments in molecular plant sciences to make more sustainable agricultural practices and apply them to deal with climate change.
