Harshita Negi completed her undergraduate studies at Kumaun University, where she majored in life sciences, and she obtained her master's degree from TERI School of Advanced Studies with a major in plant biotechnology. She completed an internship at the National Institute for Plant Genome Research, where she worked on deciphering the roles of genes involved in iron deficiency in chickpeas. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of South Carolina, focusing on Green leaf volatiles and their perception. She has published three research articles and one review paper in the field of plant biology, and she has also submitted a book chapter on Engineered Nanomaterials for Agricultural Sustainability.
