Damilola Ayorinde is a graduate student of Plant Biology/Molecular and cellular Biology PhD program of Ohio University. Her research in Dr Allan Showalter's lab is focused on elucidating the mechanism of action of Arabinogalactam-Proteins. She had her Bachelor's degree in Plant Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Nigeria, where she did her research on the phytochemical screening and Anti-hyperglycemic potential of Syzygium aqueum on male albino rats. There she got awards as the over-all best graduating student of the year. She is passionate about learning and sharing acquired knowledge with others. When she is not working with plants, she enjoys helping people with their mental and social health.
