Juanjuan Wang earned her Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Jiangxi Agricultural University in Nanchang, China, in 2015. She then pursued a Master's degree in Botany at the Institute of Botany, The Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China, graduating in 2019. Currently, she is actively engaged in her Ph.D. studies at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne, Germany.
During her Master's program, she conducted research focused on the transcriptional regulation of the AP2 (APETALA2) in Chirita pumila. Notably, she successfully established a stable transient transformation system in C. pumila protoplasts, demonstrating its applicability to sub-cellular localization and BiFC.
For her Ph.D. project, the research centers on the flowering time gene FT in B.napus. In this context, she has identified four BnFT and two BnCFT homologs, analyzed their expression patterns and florigen functions. Further investigations and advancements within her Ph.D. project are being pursued.
