East Lansing, Michigan
I am Wancheng Zhao, a fifth-year graduate student from Dr. Tuo Wang Group at Michigan State University. My research is focusing on investigating the structure and intermolecular interactions in plant cell walls, using solid-state NMR methods, such as elucidating lignin-carbohydrate interactions in secondary cell walls. I am also developing the complex carbohydrate magnetic resonance database (CCMRD) and dynamic nuclear polarization methods for characterizing plants and soil samples. I am graduating in Fall 2023 and searching for a postdoc position.
