Computational Scientist
Argonne National Laboratory
Skokie, Illinois
I'm a computational biologist. I trained in molecular biology in England in the late 90s and was enamored by the race to complete the human genome and the data that it was generated. I decided to move away from the wet bench and took a Masters in bioinformatics, then completed a PhD at Northwestern University exploring metabolic networks. I've been working on the reconstruction, prediction, and stimulation of plant primary metabolism at Argonne National Laboratory for the last ten years.
