I joined the Dept of Plant Pathology at the University of Minnesota in Fall 2020. My research program focuses on understanding the virulence mechanisms of bacterial phytopathogens. Currently, I am focusing on Clavibacter nebraskensis, the causal agent of Goss's wilt in Corn. I also study the role of mycorrhizal fungi in nitrogen acquisition by cereals.
