I am a PhD student in Dr. Dassanayake Lab at Louisiana State University, who currently works on salt tolerance mechanisms in brassica species specifically in microRNA-regulated salt responses. Previously had worked in rice salt tolerance at LSU-AgCenter and was involved in various research at International Rice Research Institute such as rice drought tolerance, and C4 functional genomics using rice, sorghum, and foxtail millet model. Also, I finished a master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a bachelor's in Biology at the University of the Philippines.
