Boyce Thompson Institute
Ithaca, New York
I studied for a bachelor degree in the Rober H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture Food and Envirinment, in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During this time, I was a member of the lab of Leor Eshed-Williams, focusing on ectopic expression of the Wuschel transcription factor in Arabidopsis roots.
I remained in the Faculty of agriculture for my MSc degree, in the lab of Menachem Moshelion, where I studied how dominent insensitivity to ABA in the Arabidopsis mesophyll affects photosynthesis and plant development.
I reveived my Phd from the Weizmann Institute of Science, in the lab of Asaph Aharoni, where I studied the function of epicuticular wax in tree tobacco.
Currently I am performing a post doc in the lab of Georg Jander in Boyce Thompson Institute, where I am studying synthesis pathways of several maize metabolites, effects of Nicotiana benthamaiana metabolites on insect interactions and more.
