Dr. Jiang got his B.Sc. in Biology at Capital Normal University in Beijing, China and Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Ohio University, USA. He then joins in Dr. Grotewold’s lab as Research Associate at Michigan State University. Dr. Jiang’s research focuses on plant systems biology, and main research projects include understanding the control of plant gene expression, engineering plant metabolism using transcription factors, and exploring new mechanism of specialized metabolite biosynthesis and regulation. He uses maize and Arabidopsis as main plant systems.
