Post-Doctoral Researcher
University of Wisconsin
Madison, Wisconsin
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Wisconsin working on the role of autophagy-related genes
during heat stress. I was also a postdoctoral researcher at Kansas State University on a Defense Advanced
Research Projects Agency (DARPA) funded project in the Department of Plant Pathology for two years. My
research involves applying various RNA-editing tools such as RNAi, guide-induced gene silencing,
CRISPR Cas13, and Cas7-11 in different plant species against the virus and plant pathogens. My Ph.D. work
involved identifying and characterizing molecular circuitry governing heat stress responses in wheat.
