Ripley has implemented her expertise in plant molecular biology, biochemistry, and physiology to investigate environmental impacts on plant heath and soil microbial interaction, as well as soil properties. Her goal is to develop scientific solutions that improve the U.S. agricultural sustainability. Her program works closely with breeders, genetics, biologists, ecologists, and other scientists in multidisciplinary sectors.
