Hello! My name is Will Dwyer, I am a research assistant in Sue Rhee's Lab, at the Carnegie Institution for Science. My work centers around plant metabolic networks and the ways in which plants respond to their environment. Specifically, I am interested in how plants organize and regulate their metabolism to develop responses to enviromental stress. On the computational side, I work with newly released structural data from AlphaFold to improve enzyme function prediction pipelines. I also help curate the Plant Metabolic Network: a comprehensive database of plant metabolism. I am also interested in protein phase separation and plant-microbe interactions.
